Jasmine made her way to the "Big City!"
Here is the chronicle of her visit here from brew festival to Tuck Shop, with a little Camelback in the middle.

Brew Festival!!!
Thinking we were going to have a relaxing day drinking coffee and getting pedicures, we get a call from Erika and Jamie. Three extra tickets to a brew fest??
Don't mind if we do!
VIP? Yes please.
We tried beers from all over. German-English- Hawaiian-Montanan, Arizonan, Utahan, and whatever other -an we can throw in there.
Thanks to Erika's friend we really got to do it right.
After eating a little app and buying a bottle of champagne at Kokopelli Winery and Bistro, we were on our way home and then to Tempe.
In Tempe, we went to Oreganos at around 9:30, each had a Bellini. When some of us went to order another Bellini, creep manager came to the table and cut off one of us, "who will remain nameless." They were trying to preserve their family atmosphere. So, we packed up our stuff, cancelled our amazingly delicious sounding order, and decided "all-for-one." if they wouldn't let one of us drink there, we all weren't gonna drink there.
So we went on our way to la Bocca, Canteen, the Tavern, and the best place all night, the sandwich shop!
Light railed back to Phoenix. There Sarah about threw up watching a guy pick up a tilt can that was rolling around in the corner, and drink what was left of it!

Day 2 - Walking All Day And A D-backs Game

Thanks to Becky and the Diamondbacks, we all got to go to a game. By 'we all', I mean Kelly, jasmine, Sarah, me, and 84 students and family from Machan Elementary. Sadly, we don't have the pictures of the excited faces of the students. But, here is Jasmine's excited face outside Chase Field.

Somehow, I talked jasmine into hiking Camelback with me. I think my main argument was so she could go back and tell everyone she did it. But, what should that really mean back home in the land of glorious hikes. But, it worked. We walked, nay we climbed boulders, up a hill for over a whole mile.
I'm pretty sure when we made it the top, practically on our hands and knees, she was glad we did it.
We made it off the mountain alive!
Although Jasmine now knows what it is like to be a redneck and have radioactive shins/calves
Day 4 - Good Friends, Good Food

The last night/meal of Jasmine's trip was spent with a few of the new characters that she had met on her trip to Phoenix. Erika, Jamie, and Sarah loved jasmine as much as the rest of us and couldn't have her leave without getting to hang out just one more time. The Tuck Shop treated us well, we had an amazing family style dinner and homemade ginger-ale and rum cocktails.
And the best thing about it, we didn't get kicked out for messing with the family atmosphere!
This was an amazing way to start my summer vacation!
